Help is underway for the damaged Notre Dame de Paris as even Ubisoft is sending help. One of their games, Assassin’s Creed Unity is set in Paris and shows the elegance of the historic architecture and that is why the events this week is particularly heartbreaking for them. In this regard, Ubisoft has pledged to donate €500,000 to help with the restoration and reconstruction of the historic landmark.
Here is a video where the Notre Dame Cathedral is featured. It is the E3 announcement trailer of 2014’s Assassin’s Creed: Unity.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity for Free
Ubisoft also announces that it is giving away Assassin’s Creed Unity for free on PC. According to them, the game is available for download now via Uplay or through the Ubisoft Store.
We have checked it out and the game is indeed for free until April 25!
Be aware though that this is one of the least favorites of the Assasin’s Creed Games but since it’s for free why not try it. You will also have the chance to see why Notre Dame de Paris is such a treasure.
